About Me
There's nothing I enjoy more than getting lost in a good book. These days, you’ll usually find me curled up with the latest pick from my ever-growing Goodreads TBR shelf. My love of words has always been central to my life, naturally fueling my passion for writing.
As both a teacher and a mom to two CSD grads, I’ve guided high school seniors through the college application process, helping them craft essays that are not only well-written but also deeply personal and authentic. I’m a certified English teacher with a Master’s degree in Education. In addition to my work with college applicants, I have taught education courses at UNCC, 8th grade English, and literature and writing courses at CPCC—experiences that have deepened my belief in the power of storytelling.
I believe you have a unique story to tell, and my goal is to help you find your voice, creating essays that are vulnerable, compelling, and a true reflection of who you are. Along with my passion for storytelling, I have a sharp eye for grammar because clear, polished writing helps you put your best foot forward. Whether we’re brainstorming ideas or fine-tuning a final draft, I’m here to support you every step of the way with a warm, encouraging approach.
